Our next book club selection is Imagination: A Manifesto by Dr. Ruha Benjamin. This book argues that we're living through an imagination battle—which feels more real everyday. We invite you to join us to imagine a thriving, collective future, together. 

If you are interested in the ways we can shape the future of technology for good, if you want to be in conversation with some of the folks building that future, and if you'd like to hear directly from the authors of some of the books that are canon for the pursuit of ethical tech and a beautiful future, join us!

Preparing for our first discussion

August 26, 8-9:30 EDT with our very special guest, author Ruha Benjamin, we’ll explore chapters 1-4, which cover everything from imagining ourselves, eugenics, and justice. 

We’ll embark upon a vibrant group discussion, informed by Ruha’s companion discussion guide, and (m)otherboard’s exploration of how we apply this imagining to a just future of tech.
