(m)otherboard Town Hall on AI Use & Governance
We're gathering to think together about how we want to relate to AI—as individuals, in our organizations, and as a collective. This session is invitation to be intentional about our choices, to surface our concerns and practices, and to co-create governance that reflects our values.
Through this conversation, we’ll be drafting:
- A governance policy for (m)otherboard that models our values
- Personal AI use frameworks we can each adapt
- A shared understanding of how AI is already shaping our work and lives
We'll use collective brainstorming methods to explore questions like:
- How much are you choosing to use AI in your daily life, and in what ways?
- What do you want your relationship to AI to look like in 1 year? 5 years?
- What boundaries and limitations matter most to you?
This is the first step in a three-part process:
- Open conversation to gather input, concerns, and current practices
- We'll synthesize what we hear into a draft policy for community comment
- (m)otherboard governance consent and public launch
Sunday, February 2nd | 7:30-9:00 PM ET
We'll span personal, collective, and organizational perspectives—leaving space for the conversation to be organic and open-ended.
This is an exciting opportunity for community governance in action—a chance to shape how we move forward together with agency and intentionality, rather than being swept in a hype cycle of inevitability.
